Hello Parents!

I hope everyone is having a good week!  The choice board was on ocean cleanup and I thought it was perfect since the last thing we did before we left was see the ocean animals from the Under the Sea in-school field trip.  Next week will be about summer of course!  I wish all the dads a Happy Father's Day and everyone a Happy 4th of July!
Please continue to read to your children (have them help turn pages) and give them opportunities to help around the house.  I can see them enjoying helping put laundry in the washer or from the washer to the dryer and they loved to help with recipes we made at school!

Have a great and relaxing summer!
Ms. Caron

Hello Parents!

I hope everyone had a good week!  Let me know if anyone planted some seeds or started a garden.  Next week our focus will be on the seasons of the year.  Our current event article is on Amy Bockerstette who has been successful in golf despite her disability of Down Syndrome.  It is a very inspiring article.

I will be sending out the optional choice boards for next week shortly if you want to get a head start.

Have a great weekend!

Ms. Caron

Take Care,
Ms. Caron

Hello Parents!
Some reminders for this week.  May the 4th is Star Wars day.  I emailed everyone with some food ideas and how to make a lightsaber using a pool noodle for some family fun.  We will have our weekly Zoom meeting at 2pm on Monday.  We use the same meeting id and password each week.

If you haven't checked in for a while please drop me a quick email if you get the chance.  I would love to hear how the kids are doing.  I miss them very much!!

Take care!
Ms. Caron

Hello Again!  I am so happy to say that I have heard from all the families in our class and that everyone is doing well.  Next week is spring break for students and staff.  Monday, April 13th is a teacher work day and we will be working in our teams to brainstorm some ideas on how we can offer some review on previously learned material to our unique classrooms.  As always, I am here for your children and please let me know if you have any questions.  Please keep in touch and be safe!

3/18/20  Hello Parents!  I sent home some basic materials last Friday if your student was in school not knowing what was going to happen.  I am adding some links for resources at the bottom of this page and will add more information as we get it.  You can also find additional activities under the student tab from the Glenkirk home page. Enjoy your beautiful children and stay safe!

Welcome back to the 2019-2020 school year!  I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday, August 26th.

Please send in your child's school supplies by the end of the first week.  It is ok if everything doesn't come in the first day.  Donations for our weekly cooking class are appreciated.  This is an activity that the children really enjoy completing together.

Every student should have at least one change of clothing that will be switched out during the season changes.  Toileting supplies should be sent in the first day and we will send home a note or email when we are running low.

Most if not all of our students start the day off by having breakfast in the classroom. This is a great opportunity for social interaction and to work on our social skills.  Please send in something for your child to eat with the class or we can get items from the cafeteria if you wish to put it on your account.

More information will be sent home soon.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thank you,

Jennifer Caron
